My wife and I received this as a gift. We rarely eat anything that is prepackage and make almost all of our baked goods from scratch.. I have to say this is the best pancake mix we have ever tasted and its better than any pancakes we made from scratch. We liked it so much we are ordering the 5# bags. Have you ever looked at the ingredients in the store box mix? Can you pronounce any of those ingredients? New Hope has just flour, dextrose(sugar), some baking soda and baking powder & buttermilk.
