Cinnamon Biscuit Rolls

Cinnamon Roll Biscuit

Dough Ingredients:

• 3 cups New Hope Mills Complete Pancake Mix
• 2 egg
• ¼ cup water
• ¼ cup melted butter

Filling Ingredients:

• 2 Tbsp softened butter
• ¼ cup Brown Sugar
• 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
• Optional pinch of Nutmeg

Glaze ingredients:

• ½ cup powdered sugar
• 2 tsp of milk
• 1/8 tsp of vanilla

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees, and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl.
3. Mix ingredients for the dough. Knead dough until uniform consistency.
4. Lightly flour surface (may use pancake mix) and roll out dough into a 10×15 inch rectangle.
5. Spread Butter onto your rectangle dough then spread cinnamon sugar mixture evenly.
6. Carefully roll up the dough using one of the short end.
7. Once in a roll carefully cut into 12 equal rounds and evenly space on prepared cookie sheet.
8. Place into preheated oven for 12 to 15min or until toothpick inserted comes out clean
9. While rolls are baking make glaze.
10. Once finished drizzle glaze on rolls.

    Hi Kathy, Thank you for the feedback. This recipe is not meant to be traditional cinnamon roll. A Biscuit mix will produce a drier more cookie like baked good. Consider trying our Country White Bread as a cinnamon roll. They are delicious!
