Snickerdoodle cookies

Cookie Dough:

Cinnamon Sugar:

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.  Whisk together: melted butter, egg, and water. Stir in Sugar Cookie Mix and cream of tartar until completely combined.  

In a small bowl stir together ingredients for the Cinnamon Sugar. Roll cookie dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in cinnamon sugar until evenly coated.  Slightly flatten cookie dough balls about 2 inches apart on a prepared cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until edges just begin to brown.  Cool on baking sheet for 1 minute, then remove to a wire rack.
